For Sale: Muray Luxe 16mm Viewer-Editor – Working Condition – Sweden/EU

I am selling a Muray Luxe 16mm viewer-editor in fully functional condition.

The unit has been tested and appears to work well: the lamp/electrics are working, the film transport runs smoothly, and I have not noticed any mechanical damage or obvious issues. The viewer comes mounted on its original-style wooden base with rewind arms, side trays and carrying/storage case. It has a European wall plug.

Included:
- Muray Luxe 16mm viewer-editor
- Wooden base
- Left and right rewind arms
- Side film trays
- Carrying/storage case
- European power plug

Condition:
Overall good vintage used condition. There are normal signs of age and use, but no apparent damage affecting function. The screen/lens and body show expected cosmetic wear for an older piece of editing equipment. Sold as vintage used equipment, tested working, but without warranty due to age.

This could be useful for someone inspecting, editing or handling 16mm film without needing a full editing table. It is also a nice compact setup for collectors or small-scale archive/home inspection work.

Located in Sweden.

Asking price: 3000 SEK / approximately €280, or nearest reasonable offer.

I can ship within Sweden or potentially within the EU at buyer’s cost. The unit will need to be packed carefully because of the viewer, case and arms, so I will calculate shipping based on destination.

Rare version of the Alexa to see on the market and one of the only modern digital cinema cameras to feature a true optical viewfinder... it feels like shooting 35mm film with an Alexa sensor.

Purchased this camera package earlier this year from a fellow reputable member here. Only used it on a few shoots since then, it's in perfect working condition for many years to come.

Selling because work has slowed down significantly and I am shooting mainly 16mm/35mm currently. I would truly love to keep this camera but it is not feasible right now.

This is the XR/XT version, which comes with ARRIRAW, Anamorphic, 4:3 licenses and internal 2.1 ND filter.

The package comes with both the optical and electronic viewfinders. Includes the EVA-1 module and all the different brackets.

Includes 3 ground glasses: 16:9 spherical, 4:3 spherical and 2x Anamorphic, and the matching Arri Frameglow masks.

4 x 256GB Codex XR Cards & reader included. Note the card reader's cable is type C (EU) so you will need an adapter for North American outlets.

Great condition all around. All accessories, including each cable, have been inspected and tested.

3468 hours on the sensor at time of listing. The sensor has been inspected and is in perfect condition. No blemishes, scratches, fungus, dirt or smudges.

The mirror and all optical elements are in perfect condition and free of faults. Mechanical shutter was tested at 24fps, 48fps and 60fps. Electronic shutter tested up to 120fps.

Note that the monitor 2 port cover was broken off, as seen in photos. The port works as it should still and Arri NY repainted it.

While purchasing, I had Arri NY perform an inspection and they performed the following work:

-New ND Filter

-Cleaned ND Filter slide tray.

-Repaired ND filter in finder.

-Reapired eyecup.

-Cleaned and lubed PL Mount.

-Tested for proper operation.

-Tested camera to ensure in working condition.

-SUP 11.1

-Painted area where the monitor out piece broke off.

I can provide seriously interested buyers with the invoice from Arri.

Astro-Berlin 100mm f1.8 Century Precision Optics Mil-Tel Arri PL mount cine lens

Century Precision Optics Mil-Tel 100mm f1.8 PL Mount lens - dating from late 60s / early 70s

I believe this is a rehoused Astro Berlin Pan Tachar 100mm f/1.8 . The lens has 18 aperture blades, a texture finish (which is seen on many Astro Berlin telephoto lenses) as well as other recognisable design features.

Very characteristic swirling bokeh similar to the Helios 58mm, the lens covers S35 with ease and FF/135 with some fall off towards the corners.

Professionally adapted to Arri PL.

Unusually the entire front housing rotates when focusing.

Optics are clean. The iris has some minor oil on the blades. Focus and aperture are a little dry, could do with a service / re-greased by a lens technician.

Comes complete with front and rear caps.

For Sale: Steadicam Master Series Elite ? sled, Master Series arm with a few accessories and Transvideo color monitor. I bought this with a view to use it myself as an independent filmmaker but also share it with my daughter who is a cinematographer but she finds it too heavy and I'm going to have a limited use for it in the end that doesn't merit buying the vest and spending loads of time learning how to use it. Not having a vest, it is not tested other than the top stage fore/aft and side to side is working fine as is the gimble and the electrical supply to the connectors (the Transvideo monitor is also included). The arm shows some rust on a few of the screw heads and is completely untested. Included is what you see here as well as the Manfrotto dock stand. The dock is missing the aircraft pin so I've used an allen wrench (not included as it's for adjusting guitar necks). It is now converted to accept v-mount batteries (battery not included) and the electrical connections are working well. The case is huge and heavy (70x90x25cms and 35kilos fully loaded) so picking up at my house in Brussels Belgium is the best option but if you can arrange shipment within the EU, that is a possibility but the only issue is the case does not lock. I'm asking 2500€.

Vintage Todd-AO 35 spherical cinema lenses 35mm T1.5 + 125mm T1.7 Mitchell BNCR

Unlike the majority of Todd-AO 35mm lenses, these are spherical prime lenses on Mitchell BNCR mount, with greater than FF/135 coverage.

Both are marked with serial no: 2001 and the branding "Ultra-Fast". They have integrated gears, 90mm frontages, they do extend during focusing and they have dual Tstop and Fstop scales.

The 35mm T1.5 is a rehousing of the first generation Nikkor-N 35mm f1.4. This was easy to confirm as the characteristic 9 bladed aperture was retained and optics had yellowed considerably due to thorium decay. The glass was treated with UV by TLS as part of the servicing and the colour balance is now correct.

The 125mm T1.7 is a bit of a mystery. It has been suggested the lens uses rehoused projector optics, which would make sense as Dr. Richard Vetter did provide projector optics to Ed DiGiulio of Cinema Products, to create additional focal length for Kubrick based on the Zeiss Planar 50mm 0.7.

I've seen some suggestion these lenses were later Todd-AO 65mm lenses, but both are marked "Todd-AO 35" and to my knowledge Mitchell BNCR was never used on any 65mm camera system.

Optics for both lenses are bright and clean, with minimals cleaning marks. The housings are in decent condition for their age and both have been recently serviced by TLS in the UK.

The 35mm has some intermittent oil on the blades, this has been cleaned twice and comes back over time.

FOR SALE: Bausch and Lomb Super Baltar cine lens set 20mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm TLS Serviced Arri PL

A set of 4 focal lengths from the famous Super Baltar lens range, used to shoot the Godfather, Star Trek TOS, special effects for Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbirds and numerous other classic films. Much rarer than Cooke Speed Panchros, their major rival at the time, the Super Baltars were made in far smaller numbers and their unique rendering and cobalt blue flares give them a iconic look few other vintage cinema lenses can match.

The 20mm and 35mm focal lengths in this set came from Europe, while the 50mm and 75mm from the US (I believe from Warner Brothers).
The telephotos render images that are a little cooler, but this is easily corrected for in the grade.
All focal lengths are sharp and well collimated - in pretty incredible condition for their age.

The 50mm and 75mm easily cover a FF/135 frame and the 35mm also covers surprisingly well with only very minor fall off towards the edges. The glass in the 20mm and 35mm were super clean and without scratches when I bought them. The telephotos needed a deeper service but are now clean and bright. No separation across the set, no heavy damage to the optics.

All lenses have been serviced by TLS in the UK, fitted with solid Arri PL mounts, frontages and lens caps. 6mm follow focus gears and 5mm aperture gears have been added to all lenses. I have service reports from TLS, detailing the work done on each the lens, which can be provided to any potential buyer.

All the original Bausch and Lomb lens caps that came with the lenses will also be sent to the buyer, in case they are of any use or interest.

This is an excellent set of lenses, one which has been my pride and joy during the time I’ve owned them. Only being sold now as I need the funds for “real life” expenses away from the film industry. Selling is a painful decision as Super Baltars were always my dream vintage lens set.

Hey guys, I'm selling 10 Rolls of Short Ends. These were from the same job and same loader. I was going to shoot my own short film on 35mm but it never happened so I'm selling them here. For pickup in LA. These were from 2014/2015 time period. I had them in A/C Storage unit in Santa Monica for the last several years, and before that they were with me in Santa Monica fridge for five years, and then in the closet for about three during covid.. So they were never stored outside or in a garage or in the valley.

These are all from the same job, in the same batch number.
