Robert Eather Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I built a 15-perf 65mm Imax format camera back about 25 yrs ago. Was built to film the Imax movie "SolarMax" where we needed special high-speed lenses, so has a small lens-to-film distance. Time lapse and 2-48 fps cine. Still sitting her on my bench, works fine. 3 1
Steven Wyatt Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Hi Robert, Thank you for getting in touch - i'll DM you! Appreciate your response!
Geffen Avraham Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I'd suggest you speak with Bruce McNaughton from Aranda (http://www.arandafilm.com.au/), who I believe has his own 15/70 cameras. He is located in Australia, however.
Jon O'Brien Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Bruce has retired, and I think has sold off all of his film equipment. I emailed him a couple of weeks ago but haven't received a reply yet. He might take a while to respond.
David Bernard Anderson III Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Some guys in Milan have a high speed camera that shoots a frame comparable to 15/70. The K65K. Check them out.
Geffen Avraham Posted March 17 Author Posted March 17 As someone who owns this type of camera, the problem is it weighs 200 lbs.

Love the weapons-range reflective white vibe. Takes me back, but to 16mm. Edited March 17 by Mark Dunn
Steven Wyatt Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Hi Geffan, Thank you so much for your contributions - I'll email Bruce i'd be curious to see what he has in terms of 15 perf 65mm cameras he has available. In the meantime - here is some footage from the Magellan made by Logmar, we are a VERY small operation working under pretty limited resources (our time - no money). Many Thanks
Geffen Avraham Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Wonderful! Can you upload a 4K scan by any chance?
