Hello All, I have had an eclair ACL for a few years, and recently discovered that my newly acquired lens projector uses the same TS mount as eclair, indexing pin and all. Interestingly I have also seen older century collimators use the same threads/mount system. I'm not certain if the back focus / FFD is exactly the same, but its not a huge issue for the projector as its flange is adjustable. I'm wondering if anyone knows the thread pitch/diameter of the eclair mount. I'm no machinist, but I can model something easy enough. Fair quality machining from China is getting cheaper and cheaper. Id like try and make a very simple L39 mount for both my ACL and projector.

As a side note, if anyone knows of, or is hanging onto any old century collimator mounts, or CHROSZIEL TP4 projector mounts, they should work on the ACL, although some PL mounts I tested would require a bit of clearance work.

I no longer have an ACL, but I do know that the TS and the earlier Chrosziel mounts are physically identical. I had a TS to PL mount that was so far off that the tech said it must have been made for some other camera.  Maybe it was for the Chrosziel collimator and the flange focal distance is different. He was able to machine off the mount and get it to work on the ACL.
