1st Time Filming in Snow: Arri Alexa Classic Plus Camera Package

Awesome Cinematographers,

 

I will be shooting a small scene in North Georgia Snow and this will be my first time filming in the snow and cold environments. It's obviously not extreme snow and cold but still the first time filming in this type of environment. What are some things that I should be aware of going into this from a technical standpoint and a cinematography standpoint?

 

Things come to mind:

- Batteries

- Camera Temperature levels

- Snow being very reflective when framing (ND Filters)

- Camera covers

- Lens condensation (if any)
