conrad magan Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Hi there, So I have a short approaching soon and need to rig an Alexa Mini above a sink in a public bathroom, the camera will sit around 5ft, looking straight out towards the room (In the shot the camera 'is' the mirror). It's static, on a 14mm lens. We have to do a small amount of VFX and plates so having zero movement is very important. We can strip a lot off the body though, keeping it as light as possible if that helps? I was imagining using a heavy duty stand and a boom arm, could this work? Any insight or advice would be really appreciated. Thank you.
Brian Drysdale Posted January 20 Posted January 20 A goalpost arrangement (with two stands) would probably be more stable, if it's practical in the available space.
Mark Dunn Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Is the sink in shot? If not you may be able to cheat the camera further out into the room and use sticks.
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted January 20 Premium Member Posted January 20 I agree with the idea of two combo stands for a goalpost rig.
conrad magan Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Thanks all for your replies, goalpost should hopefully fit in the space.
