Im a film production student at the university of Lincoln in the UK. A really big and exciting oppertunity to apply for a job as a floor runner on a feature film set. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about tailoring my CV and covering letter to the role. Any help would be much appreciated.

Indeed, friend Patrick. An initial bit of colossally worthwhile advice would be to ensure that your spelling and grammar are accurate in whatever it is you write. Why give anyone a gratuitous reason to reject you? One requirement of a successful CV is that it is pristine in presentation. ¶ Now the good author of the original post may rejoin that his post is no CV, and that the speech requirements for a post are not equivalent to those for a CV. Scrooby does not agree in the slightest, but will not post a book-sized response on the subject. At any rate, the colossally worthwhile advice is still colossally worthwhile, courtesy of industrious Scrooby. ¶ Good luck and best wishes!
