SR3 Videotap conversion from IVS

Hello everyone!

I am buying soon an Arri SR3 Advanced, which comes with the classic IVS videoassist and I would like to upgrade it to a digital HD videotap.

I saw some have a camera mounted on the elbow, some have converted the top handle itself.

- What are my options from here?

- Do you have any recommendations for videotap in Europe ?

- In order to go for the elbow mod from my IVS I need to get another type of handle, right?

Hi Lorenzo, I would say going to the kameradoctor (https://www.instagram.com/kamera_doctor/) or visual products are your best options here. The kameradoctor is based in the UK and visual products in the US. Both are quality wise very comparable. 

The original video assists are not that good, I would recommend selling your's and getting a conversion by one of the companies mentioned.
