Film Development and Scanning in Europe

I am looking for good lab and scanning services in Europe. 

Has anyone experience working with https://www.helsinkifilmandgear.fi/ or http://www.cinelab.film/ ? 

Thanks for letting me know if they are good and viable places to get film developed and scanned.

Cinelab is great. Never tried Helsinki.

I have had good experiences with 16mm at www.wfdif.com.pl in Poland. The prices are competitive.

Where in Europe? There are great labs everywhere.

I personally recommend Dejonghe (Kortrijk, Belgium) and Andec Cinegrell (Berlin).

There is also a vast network of artist-run film labs where you can develop your own film: www.filmlabs.org

There's a heap of labs missing from your website (and some of them aren't actually labs either). In the US and Canada you can add: Film-Tech, Kodak Lab NYC, Cinelab, The Negative Space, Frame Discreet, and there's a bunch of LA labs like Fotokem, MTI Film, Pro8mm, etc.

I'd also make the point that many of the film companies are run by people with a love/passion for film whether they're artists or not. 🙂

@Dan Baxter You are mentioning commercial labs, but filmlabs.org is a network of non commercial, artist run film labs. That’s why you don’t find Kodak, Fotokem, etc. on their list.

I used Mutascan before they went bankrupt and have had a few s8 rolls scanned at Helscan this spring, with good results. Developing they outsource to somewhere else in Europe.
