Shreyans Suhagiya Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Hello everyone, I've attached a photo below to show the issue I'm experiencing. In short, whenever I connect a monitor to the camera's video tap, the output appears cropped. I'm unsure whether this is a signal issue or if there's a problem with the visual products module itself. I've tried using several different monitors, with different setups (converting the signal from SDI to HDMI through a converter and with monitors with direct SDI input), but the issue remains the same. If anyone has encountered this before or has any insights, I’d greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!
Robin Phillips Posted June 1 Posted June 1 it looks like the tap is misaligned and needs to be moved "up", so to speak, given how much at the bottom you are seeing. had the camera previously shown more of the ground glass? or is this camera new to you and you are just seeing this for the first time? are you 100% sure nothing is obstructing the ground glass, and that the ground glass is properly seated? have you contacted visual products?

Thanks for the response! It was indeed a misalignment issue. One of the screws holding the camera in place had broken. It was a bit strange, since we had just used the camera on a project about a month ago, and then a couple of days ago, when I took it out to prep for another shoot, the video tap started acting up. In any case, I replaced the screw and realigned the unit, and everything is working perfectly now. 1
