Aaton Counter compatible with CP16 cameras

I added some extra presets to my Aaton Counter device and it is now compatible with CP16 original electronics if some modifications are made to the camera.

The device adds good footage counters and has integrated crystal speed generator with top speed of 50fps crystal and 15 preset crystal speeds.

The modifications needed to the camera: 

A small connector added to the camera which has power output for the counter and one routes the mirror sensor signal from the circuit board to this connector. One cuts the original connection between the internal crystal generator and the sync electronics. Then routes the internal generator to a selector switch which allows selecting between internal and external sync.

A logic level shift circuit is added between the connector and the main board to convert the internal 10v level signal to the 5v level used by the Aaton counter.

I can help with the conversion and extra parts until October2025 when planning on selling my own cp16r. After that help is still provided but I may not be able to provide extra parts, only the counter device itself.

Price of the Aaton counter itself is 450usd including shipping, I will make one batch in late August so let me know asap if wanting to order from that batch. The level shifter, connector and panel for cp16 cost approx 80usd if made by me but limited availability because I need the camera to qc them and going to sell the camera in October as mentioned

First finished device shipping to a customer tomorrow! This v41 firmware has support for most Aaton cameras, the Arri SR1 and SR2, the CP16R with 24fps gears if some tiny modifications made to the camera, and it is also compatible with most of my ACL and Universal camera motors.
