New Sony cinema camera following Italian naming convention, can anyone speak to this?

I have absolutely no info on whether this is true but if anyone wants to spill whatever they can in the case it's real, be my guest, here's a quote from the rumor site https://www.sonyalpharumors.com/widl-rumors-roundup-a7siv-and-fx8/ Source 4:

 

Sony rep was telling them that a new camera was coming soon. They could not remember the exact name, but they said it was another Italian name like Venice or Burano. They said that they believe that the Sony rep said it was going to be full frame 6K, to compete with Canon C400. That is all they remember. This person is not a “gear head” like me, but they wanted to share this info. No more specs. A full frame 6K camera would make sense now that the FX9 is discontinued, and not to compete with 8K Burano.

So yea, long old rumors sadly. 
FX3 and FX9 are discontinued cameras. Sony is just blowing out inventory. The FX6 is also 5 years old now, so it's basically next. Now that Sony has released the FX2, most people believe the higher-end variant is coming fast. 

It for sure will have an all-new body, but sticking to the smaller form factor of the FX6 rather than the FX8 or FS7. 

I can't believe for a second Sony is getting into the 8k or 12k imager for a camera that is lower-end than the Burano or Venice. Makes zero sense to me and does not follow historical trends. If they DO make a "breakthrough" super high resolution imager, it will absolutely not utilize those pixels for consumers. It will still be a 4k internal recording camera with a 6k HDMI RAW output for recording. So the point of 8k or 12k is basically non-existent if that's the case. Oversampling only goes so far. What makes BMD's 80 megapixel camera system so good is the RGBW and Sony is a CMOS company. So to alter resolution, they are going to need to scale the output for raw, which is why they won't do that at all.

Also, if we DO see high res, I bet it's a super slow refresh rate and a power hog. So expect new battery tech, which will piss everyone off. 

So yea, I think Sony will pull a typical Sony and release something that makes Sony users interested, but turns everyone else off.

Have you heard anything about a new camera following the Italian naming convention of the Venice and burano? Have you heard anything about continued development for the Venice extension system mini?
