Synopsis:

In early 20th century landscapes, figures etch out their extraordinary daily routines. The Organic Synthetic uses a black and white, high contrast palette with fluid animation to explore aspects of a bygone era. With no dialogue the film invites the audience to decode its narrative through auditory and ocular cues.

Is this just the ambient occlusion render or are these actual stills from the film?

Actual stills. The film uses very simple shaders / textures, these are mostly simple colours ranging from off-white, various shades of grey and black .

Also, just thought I would share that my short film, The Organic Synthetic, has so far received three official selections for Film Festivals located in Berlin, Dhaka, and Stockholm.
