Matthew Dunbar Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Hoping someone can help me. I’m new to film projectors. I’ve got an Athena LW 224A MK V optical data analyzer with a busted belt. I don’t think it is the main belt which is still intact. However, the manual I have only mentions one belt. The broken belt seems to run the sprockets. When I turn the projector off, the lower motor keeps running. If I turn the sprockets by hand it shuts off. Any ideas what part this is and where I can find another? Thanks in advance
Mark Dunn Posted October 15, 2025 Posted October 15, 2025 Have you tried CA (super glue)? It can work if the load isn't too high. Otherwise you should be able to find a belting specialist who can match the size and material.
