Are these guys out of business? I ask because I can't believe that with absolutely no useful Google search results produced anything that any reputable company could still be in business without a website! What do they do? Sell only via Instagram? Yes, that was sarcasm. If anyone can tell me how to find these people out there in the world, I would be very grateful. Thank you!

Did they ever make more than a couple of 2 perf movements?I think they’re London based, no?

Hi! Charnwood Movements is a pretty self-contained project aimed at supporting Aaton users and bringing Aatons up to modern production standards, and is not designed to grow like most businesses.

Word-of-mouth sales have been enough to reach hundreds of customers and generate the funding needed to get the flagship products off the ground.

Right now the focus is on 2-perf conversions of the Aaton 35-III, each one takes around 3 weeks.

Existing products, even the most popular like the XTR front cage and battery adaptor, are available while stocks last and will then be discontinued.

Websites + promotion increase overheads without serving the project, and most of the project’s goals are already fulfilled.

You can find Charnwood Movements on instagram or just message me directly on here for anything you need. Remaining stocks of most items are enough to last several months.

Thank you, Isaac. I won't belabor the point of not having a place to go and see what items are available for the XTR Prod and the pricing as opposed to only being able to poke around on Instagram. That said, the process of trying to be a possible customer takes on a whole new meaning here. That said, I respect and accept Charnwood's business model.

In short, I am interested in all things available for the XTR Prod as I find myself close to purchasing a camera. I was initially directed by Tyler (thanks!) where power solutions beyond NP batts were concerned to consider Charnwood options such as V-mount/Gold Mount. But my interests are broader than that. encompassing all things XTR Prod offered. So, anything you can do to provide me with available products and pricing would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, sir.

No i hear you, selling thru ebay, advertising here on the forum, making the webshop public are all clear options but ultimately demand has been hard to keep up with already, especially as the business focusses on more and more labour-intensive stuff like electronics and camera movement conversions as time goes on.

Right now the best way to order is still direct message where i can send individual payment links. Copying here the main items still available in case anyone else is wondering whats up.

Universal battery system, Gold mount / V-mount, voltage regulated, thermal+current protected with self resetting fuses:

Bit of a subtle one, we have a Charnwood Drive in East London, but I had to look it up. Not that. Leicestershire.
