William J Senisi Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 I found my Dad's B&H 70DA and it has film in it; counter reads 10ft. Any thoughts on what to do now? Not sure what's loaded, probably Ektachrome Reversal; it was kept in a cool, dry location since 1980's-90's William

William J Senisi Posted December 18, 2025 Author Posted December 18, 2025 Thanks, Simon. Since there's most likely only ten feet exposed, do you think the lab would be willing to rewind it so that the remaining 90' could be used and, if so, could you recommend a lab?
Premium Member Simon Wyss Posted December 19, 2025 Premium Member Posted December 19, 2025 Don’t be micrological. Why to want to use old stock? Have the found footage developed but live today then. If you’re a beginner, start out with black and white. I’ll gladly assist you in finding your way. Black and white costs less, awakens discipline.
William J Senisi Posted December 19, 2025 Author Posted December 19, 2025 Sage advice. I think I'll take it. William
