On another forum someone asked about AI images and is it art.

Back in the day, the forums would always ask if photography was an art. In short, if the outcome is uncertain and there are judgments to be made...then there is art in the process. This art can be technical or artistic, but it is still art.

Yes, depends on if it is reproduceable to a degree or just haphazard. If one elephant is a better artist than another or are they fungible? This is the acid question. Whether baking bread or painting a picture. If there was no art in it, then one would be as good as the next one.
