War time Coke ad from 1943

[Daniel D. Teoli Jr.]

Interesting ad from Nov. 1943 Saturday Evening Post.

The Post had some great color ads in it, especially the war time issues. I'm going through about 4 feet of mags pulling out noteworthy ads now. I scan these on a large format 11 x 17 flatbed scanner. I don't know when I'll get to it, so I sent in a snapshot for your perusal. Beside cine' film, vintage advertising is a fascinating area of collection.

Stationery was a big deal back in the day. No email, everything handwritten or typed. Piston rings and brake pads were also a popular ad in family magazines.

Tens of thousands of ads in the archive...just need to scan em!
