Have one of these but didn't come with original hood!

Want to know size of front threads to purchase after market hood!

The problem with a zoom is that you can only hood for the wide- angle end or it will show.

There are some rubber hoods that truncate for wide-angle though, but I don't recall them working that well. I tend to use my hand or hat, but that's for stills. Not a great option for ciné.

There's some metal wide angle lens hoods on ebay that look similar to the original but 37mm, dang
