Todd Prescott Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I'm hoping to find the hand grip that was available for the K-100. It screwed onto the bottom and allowed the user to steady the camera on the fly. Anyone have one they'd sell me? Thanks.
Mark Dunn Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Be nice to get a genuine one, but if not, looks like it has a standard tripod socket and there are any number of generic hand-grips that would probably suit. But it doesn't look as if it would be too convenient to operate the shutter release while holding a grip. I see that the manual doesn't mention a hand-grip, though. Perhaps it was an after-market item even then.
Todd Prescott Posted February 12 Author Posted February 12 Thanks Mark. I am definitely looking for an original grip that was available during the time the K-100s were sold. I can't be certain that it wasn't an after market piece, but the impression I have after speaking with someone who knows a lot about the K-100 is that it was available from Kodak and specifically for the K-100. I have the manual too and you're right that there's no mention of it. But for that time period, that's not that unusual (in my experience). Cheers.
