Is it possible to use an Arriflex SR2 magazine on an Arriflex SR3?

Hi, I have a film shoot soon and I we're going with an Arriflex SR3 Advanced with just two original magazines, and in the area we are shooting I located just one SR2 owner with a couple magazines too. Would SR2 magazines be compatible with a SR3 body? Timecode settings are not important to this production. Has anyone tried?

SR Magazines should be compatible, as long you avoid mixing HS (Highspeed) and non - HS Mags, as those have different pressure plates and might cause backfocus issues.
