Samuel Berger Posted April 3 Posted April 3 So how hard is it going to be to match footage from all these three cameras? In a perfect world, I would want A, B and C cams to all be exactly the same. Unfortunately that's not in the cards for us. How jarring is it going to be, cutting from one shot to another? Is it going to be like "oh wow what the hell is that?" We'll likely be using the C400 for the wide shots, the C500 Mark II for the mediums and the C300 Mark III for for the close up, multicam shoot.
Premium Member Tyler Purcell Posted April 3 Premium Member Posted April 3 Oh gosh, no way will they match. Umm, you could make a look for each camera to correct it and make a LUT out of it in Resolve. I do this an unusual way through secondaries. 1
Casey Preston Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I've had to do this with Canon cameras. They seem to match best in neutral color space. You need to white balance them individually since white balances don't line up. Then, you may want to go into the picture profile settings and change around some of the color biases to get them closer to matching for your scene. They will match close enough for event footage.
