Hello to everyone.

I am looking for information - and possibly for footage too - about this lens.

There are some short videos somewhere in this site, and a Vimeo link to 16mm footage as well. Unfortunately it asks me facial recognition for age check and no, I am not doing that.

Is it a fish-eye lens or do the lines in the image remain straight?

Also, does anybody know the filter thread measure?

Thanks.

Thanks Geffen, from the video the lens seems rectilinear, although not bearing the (wonderful) angle-adjustment effect the Kinoptik has. Anyway the video has been shot with a Pentax Q, which has a tiny sensor (1/1.7"), it hits just the center of the lens image then.

Olaf Trevilla wrote me in private. He said he used to have the Super Wide Angle and affirms it is a fish eye in the full super 16 frame.

This is looking through the viewfinder of a Rx5 regular 16 with the Century 5.7mm. It looks even wider on super 16 which makes sense as to why it looks so rectilinear on the Pentax Q since the Pentax sensor is almost 3x smaller than the Bolex gate.
