Ok, so this was the press pack attending the UK's prime minister's resignation yesterday, but who was shooting 16mm film on two vintage Bolex H16 cameras ?

When I was a kid in grade 9, my school took us on an excursion to a TV station in Brisbane. It was just at the time when TV news was transitioning to video for all of their reporting. I was well aware of the technical change, being into film from a young age. We were walking around the studios and 'backlot' and I was looking for any evidence for ongoing use of film. Sure enough, on the ground, I found a short length of 16mm reversal film, with magnetic soundtrack on one edge. I kept that bit of film for years. I always loved film. I don't even know why. I just love the look of it, even for things like TV news and documentaries.
