Cine Kodak Special II - Side Viewfinder

In this video the Cine Special camera has a non-standard side Viewfinder. What is it?
The tapered shape is reminiscent of a Mitchell viewfinder, although I don’t think that is what we are seeing here.

There was a company called PAR which made accessories for the Cine Special (including a reflex viewfinder system), so I'm wondering if this is one of the PAR products?

On another group I was informed that this side viewfinder was made by Maier Hancock.

Although I did find an advertisement in the Jan. 1955 issue of American Cinematographer for a PAR Products mod of the Cine Kodak Special II which used a Mitchell side viewfinder , as well as modifying the Cine Kodak Special II to take a 400' ft. Mitchell magazine !

Also from American Cinematographer I discovered that PAR Products Corp. offered a modification of the Cine Kodak K-100 to use a 400' ft. magazine (looks like a Mitchell mag).
