There seems to be a new Super 8 (and 16mm) film stock on the horizon.

The Super 8 version is already available for order as a prerelease.

That said, "new" most likely means newly converted and packaged into the smaller gauges from an existing emulsion.

Of course, there's room for speculation as to whether this is a new Wolfen ISO 100 product or whether a different (existing) emulsion is being loaded into these cartridges.

In any case, it's interesting to see the range of available Super 8 (and other narrow gauge) film stocks being expanded.

This is great news!  I really like the look of this.  quite a unique colour palate.  And quite fine too.

I feel confident that this is indeed a newly coated stock ...
