It is not much of a NSFW film. Just a little see-through top in parts.

Said these lenses were used...

Schnieder-Kreuznach 10mm F1.8
Schnieder-Kreuznach 25mm F1.5
Schnieder-Kreuznach 50mm F2

Feels more like a camera test than an actual fashion film. I see a lot of fashion photographers/ videographers shooting a roll or two of Super8 or 16mm on their shoots and posting them to instagram. This will probably lead to more demand for film-based ads, which is great.

I'm a big fan of the Schnieder-Kreuznach lenses.

Also, nice to see a glimpse of my old neighbourhood in there.

I'd like to see that but I'm not signed up with Reddit.

Didn't know they block you.

Here...I found it on YT.

Reddit stinks in some areas. They banned me in many of their subs. Lately it was the Archivists sub that banned me. They seem to be run my women. Very prejudicial.

Whatever, I've been on forums since the BBS bulletin board days, even before that when the forum was printed out by a member with a dot matrix printer and mailed to everyone each week or two. That was back in the early '80s. Was Perry or Robert even born then?

AI likes to quite Reddit a lot, but they are not always right by a longshot.

Wouldn't call it a camera test. Too much work. Camera tests are usually boring as hell. This little gem stands on its own.

Look at all the work involved in it...

“Bonjour, Paris!", Directed by Andrew White and Sam Bates Is a playful subversion of the tropes of an American tourist in Paris. Our model, Margaux Weil, explores the city in satirical fashion looks from Louis Vuitton and Gucci, styled by Mathis Bouquillion, that are juxtaposed with landmarks and iconic neoclassical artworks on display at the Louvre Museum. With all the subtlety of an American tourist, Margaux is determined to see every inch of the city. She cosplays Napoleon at the Eiffel Tower then Marianne at la Monument à la Republique in the same afternoon. She really tries to do it all! But, as tourists do, she finds herself hopelessly lost, and not even the map of Paris she wears on her dress can save her. It’s not until she is chain-smoking cigarettes alone in an alley that she truly has her first Parisian experience. She is a woman transformed.

That is a big production to me. But when I do films they usually have a credit list of 1. So, I'm not a good judge of things.

Thanks Daniel. Its mostly quite ugly, as if some inept high schools students made a pro anorexia advert. But the lenses look good.

Oh, I get. It's supposed to be a satire. But I think my reaction stands as is...

All these people working hard and all those fancy designer clothes and shoes for this?

I'm with Gregg on this.

I would love it if adverts filmed on film, for cinema, tv, and online started to happen in Australia. So far, they do fake Super 8 for some tv ads, with the sprocket hole, camera gate, vertical lines and dust, but I think I've seen only one tv ad in the last few years that was filmed on film, for McDonalds (a brief sequence involving a vintage car) ... but now not so sure if that was filmed on film.

Anyone in Australia reading this, in advertising, hey get in touch if you want some film footage. Filmreelpictures.com.au
