Moviestuff DV8 Sniper for sale - regular and super 8 telecine

Just spreading the word if the right person is interested. I have a Moviestuff DV8 Sniper that I used to transfer 157 reels of super and regular 8 family movies. Since I am not a pro and won't be doing any more transfers, it is now for sale on eBay here.

 

The owner of Moviestuff (a fantastic guy) likes to make sure all his "babies" out there working perfectly, so he asked me to ship the unit to him for a complete going over. When it sells on eBay, he will actually ship it to the seller right from the company and give the buyer a full warranty and support. In effect it is used, but it also as good as new.

 

Some of you may be familiar with MovieStuff's Workprinter XP. My unit, the DV8 Sniper, is basically a Workprinter XP, but comes with a 1 CCD camera (whereas the Workprinter requires you to use your own camera aligned to a projection lens). The Workprinter XP goes for $1395 new while the DV8 Sniper goes for $2690.00 new. Lets just say my eBay reserve price is somewhere in the middle of the two, perhaps closer to the Workprinter XP price! :-) Moviestuff sells quite a few of these and usually has a 45 - 60 day wait time. So, if you were thinking about a Workprinter XP, or especially a DV8 Sniper, you might be interested in mine.
