Nate Downes
I know that Super8 has some unique lighting properties. For the camera I'm building for myself, I was planning on including a built-in light meter calibrated for Super8 film. Are there any sites that give a good writeup on the unique lighting issues on Super8, and how to calculate out the light needs in a meter?
Sam Wells
What unique lighting properties ? The film is just smaller.. -Sam
Matt Wells
Why not just exclude an internal light meter? I find that they just annoy me because I am always taking readings with my hand held, and then the internal meter is usually there, staring at me, saying something else - because it does not see the scene as I am. I would say the inclusion of an internal meter is a complication. Matt
Nate Downes
@Matt Um... including an internal light meter is exactly what I am speaking of, trying to build a light meter for the camera I am trying to build.
