Question about Older 35mm Cine Lens' for RED

Will older Arri 35mm bayonet mounted lens' work on the RED if they have a bayonet -> PL adapter? What I have are old Zeiss Primes and a Angenieux 25-250. I have read that the RED will take certain PL mounted lens', but I'm wondering why it would not take all PL mounts (if that is the case), including PL adapter mounted lens'.

You will have to test them on a RED camera yourself, what may work for you may be unacceptable to others. IMHO the old Angenieux lens will not be upto it.

 

FWIW many lenses that cover S35 DO NOT work with a P+S adapter as they vignette on the ground glass.
