Paul Marschall
I'm trying to put a list together of films shot in the last ten years or so that were set in the 70's, such as Blow, Buffalo '66, Virgin Suicides... Any others?

Premium Member Wendell_Greene Posted February 4, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted February 4, 2004 I saw a film last night on Sundance from 2002 which was set in Ireland in the 1972- " Bloody Sunday" also Hurricane (partly) Didn't see it but I've heard from a few people that the film "Wonderland" although circa 1981, looks and feels like it was set the 70's. Premium Member Bill DiPietra Posted February 6, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted February 6, 2004 I saw a film last night on Sundance from 2002 which was set in Ireland in the 1972- " Bloody Sunday" The constant fade-ins and fade-outs in "Bloody Sunday" really annoyed me, especially when it faded-out one part of a scene, then faded-in to another part of the same scene. A lot of tension could've been built up, but the editing prevented it.
