happychappy Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 New guy here! I need to make sure that I'm not crazy. My company just purchased a DVX-100A while we already own a DVX-100P. I'm the sound engineer and for whatever reason the new camera (100A) has a horrible delay on the audio. It sounds like it monitors back the original signal then a delayed signal (approx. 100ms or so.) I didn't have this problem on the older camera (100P). Has anyone heard of this being a problem? Or did we get a bad camera? Thanks!
Preston Herrick Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 That's normal for the 100A due to processing. It is annoying but I've gotten used to it. It is more or less noticeable under varying conditions.
happychappy Posted September 24, 2004 Author Posted September 24, 2004 Well, at least I know I'm not crazy. That seems a little odd that it would just be the norm. Thanks for the clarification though!
