How bout this... is this really going to work with FCP now... from a post by David Newman

I posted a few teaser downloads a few days back expecting they would be our new offical release, instead an even newer, more significant release went out last night. What is so special with the latest releases of Neo HD/2K and Prospect HD/2K, it includes a full license to the Mac OS X codec, enable a seamless cross-platform workflow. Read the press release here :

P.S. We snuck in some more HDLink upgrades for M2T and XDCAM conversion, even since Friday's build. So get you free upgrades here : http://www.cineform.com/products/Dow.....;/Downloads.htm

CineForm released the 422 and the 444 versions of their codec. Now they need to release the RAW portion of the codec as well. The 422 and 444 versions of the codec needed to come first because the 444 version of the codec is what CineForm RAW decodes to.

So the answer is that FCP support is coming VERY soon . . . and I say this for real because it was the release of the 422 and 444 codecs that was the hang-up . . . you can't have the RAW codecs without the 444 decode support as well. So now one major hurdle has been accomplished, and the next one is coming down the pike. Naturally I know I've been saying "very soon" for the last year now, so I don't necessarily expect people to believe me, but it won't matter in a little while because the codec will be available and we can then move on with life :)

Hi,

I've uploaded a new video tutorial outline the unique workflow attributes of working with RAW inside of Premiere Pro CS3.

You can find it here:

Thanks,

Jason

Jason:

Thank you for all the tutorials and workflows you made. They were usefull for me to learn about SI 2K.

It's very possible that the office where I work will buy two SI 2K, and I want to know how is the configuration of the whole equipment on set. Monitor conections, remote control, footage administration, backup's, etc.

I work as a DIT, and I want to know as much as I can about workflow on set with this camera.

Thank's!!!

Lucas
