Scott Henriksen
I'm shooting in a location that has a large LCoS rear projection TV and the big idea is to use it in our shot. I'm curious if they behave like an LCD source in regards to lack of roll bar and flicker issues. We'll be shooting 24fps with sound and I'll have some greenscreen as a backup. I don't want to have to shoot it 29.97. Honestly, I am more worried about the angles you can look at it as the image on those seems to get much dimmer off to the side. Also, replacing it with a similar LCD is out of the question because the projection tv's bulky size is part of the humor of the shot. Thanks for any consideration of this question. I realize there's a ton of "filming a t.v." threads here but none I saw addressed LCoS specifically.
