Mitch Gross
As you guessed, Jan is scheduled to be there. No guess--except for the one that no one else would hold a seminar in LA about the SDX900 on the same night as Movieola.
Premium Member Bill Totolo Posted March 4, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted March 4, 2004 OK, so here it is straight from Jan Crittenden, the Panasonic SDX900 does not have fore wire out, it is not an option and there are no plans of adding it. Theres just not enough room, as Jan explained it. You can fire wire into an NLE using a deck such as the AJ-SD955A or AJ-SD930. There is a new SDI Output board available, however, which you connect via BNC cable. Maybe your friend has been using that, Mitch?

I am now officially confused and humbled. Interesting to note that some of the new cameras Panasonic has announced to debut at NAB will have firewire in/out.
