For the car mount shots, I used a stock hvx200 mounted to the car via a suction cup kit from filmtools.com - I made a umbilical cord with rec/focus/zoom controls as well as a component video feed to a mashall monitor. I was hiding in the back seat and recording/viewing the action. In other scenes where I was able to use the M2 35mm lens adapter, I mostly used a 50mm F1.4 non AI nikon lens - the old school metal one- its fast, the optics are awesome and can be bought for less than 75 bucks used.
