Excessive noise with a GY-HD111e

Hi All,

I'm currently using a JCV GY-HD111e, shooting in HDV-HD 30p. I've tried multiple setups, including adjusting the Knee level, the Detail settings and Gamma settings & colour matrix (and using some of the excellent recipies posted here), but no matter what I do, the image is full of noise and certainly note the quality of images that I've seen others produce. Has anyone got some tips to reduce the noise that I havent come accross in these forums? I've tried lots of different methods of lighting even with the iris wide open. Theoretically the noise would be coming from a lack of light, but even with everything up to a 500w work light Im getting the same level of noise. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I was excited at the prospect of the image quality prior to purchase, but am now extremely dissapointed... Many thanks!
