Diego Lazo
I'm making a short this weekend with the Z7u and I want a soft-low-con look (like it was filmed with Fuji Reala). I'm doing it in camera because I won't have time for CC. I did some tests, mainly increasing the master black (+10), lowering the reds in the blacks (-10) - I like that cyan in the blacks - and using the CINEMATONE2 Gamma. What do you think about these settings? Saludos. Edited December 1, 2008 by Diego Lazo
James Martin
I think you should be certain that you like what they do, because reversing them will be difficult. Have you considered shooting a test beforehand and creating a Colour Correction pre-set that effectively does what you are doing in camera? I would also recommend a good, calibrated monitor on set to check what you're filming. Best of luck!
