Matias Nicolas Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 Hi everyone ! im going to use the 17-80 T2.2 angenieux optimo ... can I use it with the MB16 or I need a MB14 ? the thing is that I will have a set of ultraprime lenses and a mb16 ... do I need 6x6 filters and a mattebox MB14? Mikael Lindström Posted March 7, 2010 Share Posted March 7, 2010 For the Optimo 17-80 you need MB-14 and 6x6 filters, because of the front diameter of the lens. A long bridgeplate will be very useful for balancing your camera. If you are on tripod or dolly all the time I suppose you can keep the MB-14 with the UP series as well, Just make sure you get the right doughnut to go with them.
