Steven Wyatt
Hi everyone, was looking into investing into some 16mm glass for my Eclair npr which has been converted to super 16mm. The Kern series of lenses have taken an interest, as i've heard they can just about cover super 16 especially on the wide angle end of the optics. My questionis though what is the difference between the 'preset' kerns and the RX versions? Which would be suitable for use on my Eclair npr? Thanks, Steve

Thanks, Steve Hi Steve, You'll get better results with lenses that are not RX. Most presets are RX except the 75mm Macro and 150 Macro. The RX lenses were designed to work with the Bolex camera's beamsplitter reflex system. Cheers, Jean-Louis
