Anyone got a GH1?

Hi,

 

I may soon need to run some tests and I'd like to try a Panasonic GH1 side by side with some Canon stuff. Nobody seems to rent them out (too low end, I guess) and I'm sort of loathe to try and buy one just for the sake of this. A fee is available.

Hey Phil-

 

Not exactly what your looking for but I just did quite a bit of testing between the Gh1 ( with the 44mbs hack) and a 5Dm2. You can find some results here: 5dm2 vs hacked GH1 I found in general, if your shooting at a normal iso (100-500), the hacked gh1 really edges out the canons in many ways, lack of color moiré and aliasing, overall better sharpness and temporal resolution.. I actually just bought a hotrod PL kit for my gh1 because of this.

 

Not sure where your located but if your in LA I know a few people with hacked GH1's and if you want an unhacked Gh1, Abelcine has a few I think.
