Lenses usually have some dust in them. When you open them up, dust gets in. If they aren't that bad, don' bother. If there are big globs of grease or lots of dust, then do it. It can be costly for little gain since the chances are you will not see the dust. Paul or Matt Duclos are highly recommended lens techs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
