Media offline in Avid

Hi,

I copied a project to my external harddrive, then tried to open it on my computer using Avid media composer. But I got media offline. I tried to copy the project file to the C-drive (as the text book said I should do when moving a project to another computer) but it did not change.. Does anyone know how to to this?

you probably forgot to copy the video files as well. the project file only tells the program where all the footage is and where to put it on the timeline. if you do have the footage on your drive you need to show the project the new path to the file

How did u copy? In avid, to copy media to an other drive you need to consolidate the media. if u don't know I will tell u tmr.
