Richard Benjumea
I recently got the Encinema35 DOF adapter to use on my Canon HV30 with Canon EF mount lenses, as expected the image is upside down. Is there a cheap option out there to turn it right side up? I know monitors would work but cost around $400 and I don't really want to resort to the ol' mirror-in-front-of-the-LCD-Screen trick. Something pre-made maybe? Less than $200? Is there any such thing?

Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted September 9, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted September 9, 2010 Mount the camera upside-down and record, then everything will be proper and best part, you can do this very cheaply or free if you're good at building an enclosure to hold the camera. Damien Andre
if you just want to view it right side up you can place a magnet on the back of the lcd. there's a sensor for when you flip the screen and close it. itll fairly simple to flip in post im sure. Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted September 10, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted September 10, 2010 I don't recommend the magnet "tricks." can effect colors on the monitor, not to mention fry out other components (and erase tapes if you get a tape too close to too strong of a magnet).
