Premium Member Peter Moretti Posted January 9, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted January 9, 2011 I'm looking to pick up some more gels and am just wondering if anyone feels there is a significant difference between Rosco Cinegels and Lee Filters' gels? I'd imagine there isn't, but thought I'd ask. Thanks. :)
Stuart Brereton
Only difference I've ever noticed is that Rosco CTB has a slight purple tint when compared to LEE. Nothing to worry about, more of a curiousity.
JD Hartman
Some Lee gels don't cross over to the same number from Rosco. Lee has a few gels that Rosco doesn't (1/2 Mustard for one). Lee gel rolls are marked every foot on the perimeter, which makes them the choice for "Pay per use" expendables.
