Clive Alex
I've a nice collection of prime Lomo lenses, does anyone know if the lomo 35mm f2.8 konvas 2M lens is a Jupiter 12 (Zeiss Biogon) design.
Jock Blakley
I don't know the Lomo one personally, but the pre-war Biogon design acquired by the Soviets and manufactured as the Jupiter-12 by KMZ can be easily identified by the huge and frighteningly-exposed rear element,as you can see here:
Olex Kalynychenko
I've a nice collection of prime Lomo lenses, does anyone know if the lomo 35mm f2.8 konvas 2M lens is a Jupiter 12 (Zeiss Biogon) design. Do not need mix of amateur photo lenses like Jupiter 12 of 35mm rangefinder photo cameras FED/Zorki/Kiev with LOMO professional cinema lenses. LOMO had a few versions of 35 mm lenses: OKS-1-35-1 OKS-2-35-1 OKS-6-35-1 OKS-11-35-1 OKS-15-35-1 OKS-16-35-1 And every of this lens had original optical scheme. For example, OKS-11-35-1 have 5 optical componnets with one agglutinate block. OKS-15-35-1 have 8 optical componnets with two agglutinate blocks.
