super duper Beaulieu

simple question, is is possible to recenter the optics on a beaulieu 6,7,9008 camera after it is converted to super duper8? so that zooms are centered and not offset.

My understanding is that Beaulieu's do not convert to super-duper 8 due to the shutter design so it's a non-starter.

 

Regardless of the camera, re-centering the lens would be a piece of work. We shoot a lot of super-duper 8 with the slightly off-centre lens and we don't worry about it and it's not that noticeable to the eye, but we're not perfectionists, so I can see others wanting to correct this problem.
