What do you guys think is the best way to do that so that i can achieve the best quality possible regardless of price.

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,

I would bring it to a post house that uses hardware encodes, like a sonic. They will probably transfer your footage to DBC (digital beta cam) and then encode the audio and video. Spruce uses a hardware encode as well. Just check around, a cheap way is to use DVD studio pro but the hardware encode is much more reliable. With sonic creator you can adjust the data rate after it is encoded for spikes when heavy transistions that breaks up the compression.

Have it transferred to disk via a firewire to SDI converter in uncompressed format.

Have it encoded with the Cinema Craft encoder at 9mbs. Convert the audio to AC3.

Since your demo is short the whole video can be encoded at the highest possible rate.

Have it burned onto Authoring DVD's (Pioneer S-201) for maximum compatability.

Our facility can do exactly this for you at a reasonable price if you would like.

Tsunami being driven by a knowledgeable individual will do at least as well, and costs $50...
