christian mann Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 hi there, we are planing a talk show in a studio with 3 cameras in total and due to a rather limited budget can't afford broadcast cameras. I was looking for good and inexpensive alternatives and am considering the canon xf105 (50Mb/s, 1920x1080, 4:2:2, XLR IN, Genlock...). to me this seems a realy decent compromise - what are you thoughts and comments? are there other cameras to consider keeping in mind that the budget for the cameras is around $13.000...Sony EX1/3, JVC GY HM790, Panasonic AG HPX250 are too expensive, Canon XH G1 does only 4:2:2 at 25Mb/s....... is there anyone who has already shot with a xf105 in a studio/talkshow and/or multiple camera set-up and who could share his/her experience? regards, m
