Donald Riley
Is it possible for a 17EP motor to not be crystal sync? I shot footage for a music video and the sync is way off. The video is faster than the audio. The song is at 91 beats per minute while the video seems to be at about 96 beats per minute.
Olex Kalynychenko
Yes, 17EP-16 APK motor can be do not crystal sync, if the original electronic broken. The electronic speed control module can do not control crystal speed value. The crystal oscillator can have frequency shift. To check voltage of battery. The low battery voltage can give short speed control rate. Can ask me about repair of original electronic or upgrade electronic on modern microprocessor crystal sync speed control. Steve Zimmerman
Olex upgraded a 17EP motor for me a couple years ago, and it's been working great. Excellent work. Premium Member Bruce Taylor Posted August 8, 2012 Premium Member Share Posted August 8, 2012 +1 for Olex. He did motor mods on 2 of my 17EP motors, they work perfect. Donald, if you're looking for a core to send to Olex for modification, let me know. I still have that 17EP motor with the inoperative electronics, everything else is about mint as you know.
