Santosh Vasandi Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Hello All, i am currently prepping for a challenging project to be shot in a few months time. Basically we are looking to capture live theatre for Cinematic projection, DVD sales and Internet videos very much on the lines of Digital Theatre and NTLive.com. Now the real challenge is that i am looking for HD Cameras which can record non stop upto 45 mins,as the play is 40 mins each half. Planning to use 6 Cameras. however we are not doing an online edit. The edit will be done later. Kindly suggest what cameras and multi cam setup i should work around with? Since we are going to project in theaters, the producers are even okay to go with Arri Alexas or Red Epics if we can find a way to use them.
Brian Drysdale Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 It depends on your budget, but 2/3" broadcast cameras are designed for this type of work.
